Accessibility

Last updated October 19, 2026

RHAM wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities, people using older devices, and people with slow internet connections. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where practical.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic headings and landmarks, plus a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Full keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus indicators.
  • Text and interface colors chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Labeled form fields, with error messages placed next to the field they describe.
  • Animations that turn off when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Layouts that work on small phones and when text is enlarged.
  • Printable and downloadable versions of guides and checklists.

Known limitations

Downloaded PDFs are generated automatically and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. The same information is always available as a regular web page on this site. Some external websites we link to are run by other organizations and may have their own accessibility issues.

Feedback
