Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
RHAM (Rural Health Advocacy & Mentorship) is designed to collect as little information as possible. This page explains what the website does and doesn’t do with your information.
What we don’t do
- We don’t require accounts or logins.
- We don’t use advertising, analytics trackers, or third-party tracking cookies.
- We don’t sell or share personal information.
- We don’t ask for medical records, diagnoses, or health insurance numbers.
Tools that save information in your browser
The Prepare for Your Visit tool and the Pathway Checklist save what you enter in your browser’s local storage on your own device so you can come back to it. This information is never sent to RHAM or anyone else. You can delete it at any time with the “Clear” or “Reset” buttons in each tool, or by clearing your browser’s site data. Downloads and printouts are created on your device.
Forms
If you submit a form on the Get Involved page, the information you enter (such as your name, email address, and message) is emailed to RHAM through our web host so we can read and respond to it. It is used only for that purpose. Please don’t include medical or other sensitive personal information in forms. To prevent abuse, the form system briefly keeps an anonymous, hashed counter based on your IP address; the address itself is not stored.
Website hosting
Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations.
External links
RHAM links to government agencies and other organizations. Their websites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.
Children
RHAM’s educational content is suitable for students, including high school students. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you’re under 13, please don’t submit forms.
Questions or changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
